Solo roleplaying adventures

Somewhere, a story has room for you.

Choose a world. Play a character. Make decisions that shape your journey. The world has a history of its own, and your choices can give it a history with you.

Explore this early preview. Public solo play is still in development.

Canon and provenance, through a choice

The world remembers why.

Canon is what a world has established. Provenance is the trail from a source or a choice to what happened next. Both matter when a story continues.

Here is a small invented turn. The tower is part of the scene. The ferryman's words are his account, not verified history. Your choice makes a different path through it.

Illustrative example only. This is not live gameplay or a saved campaign record.

A bell rings from the watchtower across the river. The ferryman lowers his pole. “Nobody has lived there for years,” he says.

What do you do?

The first journeys

Where will your story begin?

Two ways to play are being shaped: a prepared adventure and a life you direct yourself. Individual worlds, including the Unquiet Archive, can offer several adventures. Public play is not open yet.

Enter a story.

Step into a specific situation with a reason to act, people to meet, and an ending your decisions can shape. The river crossing above previews the feel of a first choice; the Unquiet Archive now shows three planned adventure paths.

Find your own path.

Create a character, arrive somewhere extraordinary, and choose whom to know, where to go, and what work or trouble to take on. The starting world and its playable area are still being selected.

A world with roots

A place has a life before you arrive.

The public New Frostmarch Almanac gives a city work, routes, neighbours, and needs. Those details are a beginning for adventures, not decoration pasted behind them.
